1 Corinthians 9: 24-27 Motivation!

^24-25You've all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You're after one that's gold eternally.
 ^26-27I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! I'm staying alert and in top condition. I'm not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.

Great Motivational verses: With summer coming I find myself to busy and sometimes lacking drive and to get the things done that truly matter in life.

I hope this summer to start working on same things and keep my focus on what is truly important!

Psalm 91

 ^1-13You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,
   Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
      I trust in you and I'm safe!"
   That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
      shields you from deadly hazards.
   His huge outstretched arms protect you—
      under them you're perfectly safe;
      his arms fend off all harm.
   Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
      not flying arrows in the day,
   Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
      not disaster that erupts at high noon.
   Even though others succumb all around,
      drop like flies right and left,
      no harm will even graze you.
   You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
      watch the wicked turn into corpses.
   Yes, because God's your refuge,
      the High God your very own home,
   Evil can't get close to you,
      harm can't get through the door.
   He ordered his angels
      to guard you wherever you go.

      their job is to keep you from falling.
   You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
      and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

 ^14-16 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God,
      "I'll get you out of any trouble.
   I'll give you the best of care
      if you'll only get to know and trust me.
   Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;
      I'll rescue you, then throw you a party.
   I'll give you a long life,
      give you a long drink of salvation!"

Thoughts on this MONDAY!

According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts. Romans 12:6

God gave us set of natural abilities, things that have just always come easily to you.
Sometimes we have a hard time using these Gifts in the right way. We forget to ask for God's Guidance, we lack the patience to let God work things out. 

This year I am working on my creativity too.
I found this exercise interesting:
Write your full name on a piece of paper.  Now write your full name with your other hand.
How easy was it writing your first signature?  What effort did it take to produce the second one?
What does it feel like?  How long did it take?
This Exercise is a quick reminder of how it feels to learn or to take a different point of view!

Trying to think of ways to get more creative this year.

I have a lot of ideas floating around in my brain so why not work on them!

They are:
   Curiosity, Confidence, Courage and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence.

So have confidence in your ability to do it right, and work hard to do the best possible job.
